Bistro “Franica” is a place with century long hospitality tradition.

Early 20th century

A café – restaurant called “Kod pristaništa” was originally built on that spot.

Year 1931

The building was built on and turned into the hotel called “Triglav”, which had a restaurant on the ground floor and nine rooms on the first and second floor.

Year 1995

Zdravko Čabrijan, grandson of late Marijan Dujmović – Franica, who was one of the pioneers of hotel tourism in Baška, opened a bistro called “Franica” with his wife Pavica.

Year 2022

After many years of working with her parents, daughter Rina Čabrijan takes over the family business and continues the family tradition.

Located in heart of Baška’s port with a view of the boats and beach , bistro “Franica” is a meeting point of past and present.

Rich Glagolitic tradition of Baška’s basin is present in every detail of interior.

Bistro “Franica” is giving it guests a memorable atmosphere in private shady terrace with a vault made of ivy, grapevine and wisteria, while for children there’s a salt water aquarium which makes them thrilled!

Pleasure for your dining is found is specially selected dishes made of local fresh fish, lamb, variety of meat, pasta and risotto. All the dishes are made in the traditional way like are “nonnas” use to make, colored with aromas of Mediterranean herbs, homemade olive oil and precisely picked wine sorts.
